Get to Know the Wizards Q&A with Ross, Singleton, Thornton and Young
13:02, 2010-Mar-13

Q&A: Quinton Ross #3
Mark (Waldorf, MD):
What's one part of the world that you want to see?
Quinton Ross: That's a tough one. I would say Brazil.
Fred (Burke, VA): When you were in High School and college what were some of the drills you did to get better?
Quinton Ross: I did a lot shooting and ball-handling drills. I just tried to work on every aspect of my game to get better.

Q&A: James Singleton #22 John (Bethesda, MD): How have you adjusted to being a Washington Wizard and to Flip Saunders' system?
James Singleton: I know the plays now (laughing). I pretty much know what the guys expect from me. It's been a great adjustment.
Loraine (Temple Hills, MD): Besides being on a new team, what has been your most interesting experience in DC/MD/VA thus far
James Singleton: Just learning the city. It's great to be in a city with so much history and so many historic places to visit.

Q&A: Al Thornton #14
Jeff (Rockville, MD):
Al, you just came from Los Angeles to Washington D.C. How have you adjusted to the change in cities?
Al Thornton: The adjustment is going pretty well. The main thing I miss about LA is the weather. When I first got out here I was freezing. I think it's been a pretty good adjustment. I'm closer to home. My family and friends are only about an hour and a half flight away and the flights are cheaper so that's a big positive.
Noah (Silver Spring, MD): What is the best part about being able to play in the NBA?
Al Thornton: I would say the best part is that I get to do what I love doing. This is what I've wanted to do my whole life and I get to go out there and have fun.

Q&A: Nick Young #1
Stewart (Norfolk, VA):
What is your go to move in a game of 1 on 1?
Nick Young: I would probably have to say my crossover. It's a killer cross over and then I step back and make a nice jumper. Unless I'm playing someone that is a little bigger like Dray (Blatche), then I'll just beat him real quick, get to the hole and dunk on him (laughing).
Franc (Baltimore, MD): Hey Nick! I was wondering about your off-season, what do you like to do for fun??
Nick Young: I really just like to hang out. I've starting getting into Guitar Hero so I'm guessing I will play a lot of that this summer.

Newsroom Notes: Suns Outlasted by Lakers
13:02, 2010-Mar-13
Fans wondered what Suns team was going to come out tonight. Would it be a team that became complacent over a week-long break, or would they be well-rested and champing at the bit for a game against the team with the best record in the West? Well, the well-rested version showed up to play Friday, but they were overcome by championship-caliber team playing championship basketball as the Lakers dealt the Suns a 102-96 home defeat.
